Sally Brake is a multi-disciplinary creative based in London, specialising in graphic design, videography and content creation, with a background in human rights and climate activism. Sally joined the Graphic Designer Development Course to sharpen her design foundations and expand her visual language.

London Fields Design School student Alan Cheng is an architectural designer with a sharp focus on visual storytelling through architectural visualisation. With a background in architecture and a growing command of digital tools, Alan is able to bring his creative direction to spatial design.

Sarah Kasher is a graphic designer and visual storyteller with a love for creative experimentation. Her work explores the intersection of design and narrative, often shared through her TikTok channel. Since completing the Designer Development Course, Sarah has sharpened her Adobe skills and gained the confidence to take on real-world projects. She’s built a freelance practice, and is now looking for a full-time graphic design role.

Morgan Ager is a UX/UI designer with a background in web content and marketing. Now based in the UK, Morgan has combined strategic thinking with a strong eye for design, crafting clean, functional user experiences for digital products. Since completing the Graphic Designer Development Course at London Fields Design School, he has taken on freelance graphic design projects and successfully transitioned into UX/UI design. Last year, he landed an exciting role at a Fintech app.

Milo, a talented graphic designer and musician who joined London Fields Design School to broaden his creative horizons. While primarily working in the music industry, Milo turned to LFDS to sharpen his design skills and quickly found new ways to combine his two passions.

Matthew Ledwold is a graphic designer with a growing freelance practice and a passion for colourful and impactful branding design. Matthew joined the Graphic Designer Development Course to build his skills from the ground up — and that’s exactly what he’s done.

Bonnie Coburn is a multi-disciplinary designer with a background in architecture and a passion for graphic and motion design. From freelance projects to self-initiated work, Bonnie has built a strong portfolio that reflects both her creative flair and technical abilities.

Ivan is a jewellery maker based in London who is studying on the Designer Development Course. Ivan founded Studio Punchi, which offers expertly hand crafted jewellery from silver in his Notting Hill studio. He draws inspiration from the striking contrast between bold gemstones and the rich grey tones of silver, a combination that defines the studio's aesthetic.

London-based Sonia Cheadle has 20 years of experience as a jewellery designer, which equips her to create innovative, understated jewellery that brings together traditional materials with unexpected additions. Her work has won numerous awards, including the coveted GCDC (Goldmith’s Craft & Design Council Awards) Gold for her artwork ‘Four Seasons Brooches’.

Charles, a furniture, product and 3D designer based in London with roots in France. During the pandemic he decided to pivot from his successful career in luxury hotel marketing to pursue his passion for design, a decision that led him to London Fields Design School and helped him gain practical experience with an independent furniture retailer.

Architectural Assistant and LFDS lecturer in 3D design, 3D printing and Rhino, Luisa is currently enrolled in the Climate Entrepreneurs Club Pre-Accelerator programme at Imperial College London.

Justine Morelli is an illustrator, animator and graphic designer based in London. Her dynamic, colourful and bold work has been used across posters, branding, packaging and much more. Using Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign and Cinema 4D, Justine brings her fantastic ideas to life.

London-based blacksmith Felicity Jones creates organic, flowing forms that intersect with an element of danger, taking inspiration from insects, plants, symmetry in nature and man-made artefacts such as vehicle parts and machinery. She uses a mixture of traditional and contemporary techniques to form modern art works, making anything from functional fire pits to artwork for Glastonbury’s Pyramid stage.

Designer Development Course student Paula Gilewska is a London-based interior designer and visualiser. Since starting her studies at London Fields Design School, she has worked on a range of exciting residential and commercial projects.

Amelia Deacon is an illustrator, graphic designer, and fashion designer based in London. Her work celebrates feminism, colour, positivity, and fashion, with vibrant prints focused on abstract art, body, and female empowerment. Using Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and After Effects, Amelia brings her bold ideas to life.

Students from our Designer Development Courses recently explored The Barbican and its iconic Brutalist estate. Guided by an expert, they delved into the vision, ambition, and history behind the design while gaining insight into the site's evolution and future.

Designer Development Course student Ria is studying with London Fields Design School remotely, and is based in beautiful Trinidad and Tobago. She has demonstrated great talent across many disciplines, including illustration and architecture. While studying with us, Ria won a design competition Secret7s and was also offered an interview for an assistant role with an architecture firm.

During her time at London Fields Design School, Lula built a strong foundation in design principles and software, which helped her land her first creative internship. She later secured a place in a university course with a specialism in Artificial Intelligence.

This illustration was commissioned by Starling Bank for their blog containing stories about people and their relationships with money. It was in response to a story about a man going freelance to save on childcare costs.
