Student Spotlight: Ivan Ogilvie-Grant

Ivan is a jewellery maker based in London who is studying on the Designer Development Course. Ivan founded Studio Punchi, which offers expertly hand crafted jewellery from silver in his Notting Hill studio. He draws inspiration from the striking contrast between bold gemstones and the rich grey tones of silver, a combination that defines the studio's aesthetic.

Ivan describes how his studies at London Fields Design School has helped him to succeed:

"Studying at London Fields Design School has taught me, among other things, how to process an idea, from thought to final product. How to explore differences while keeping to the route of what you’re trying to display. It has also provided me with the knowhow to realise designs digitally, helping me promote ideas and allowing for easy collaboration with clients."
