Matthew Ledwold is a graphic designer with a growing freelance practice and a passion for colourful and impactful branding design. Matthew joined the Graphic Designer Development Course to build his skills from the ground up — and that’s exactly what he’s done.

Throughout the course, he’s developed his portfolio enabling him to work on exciting client projects. We asked Matthew how London Fields Design School helped him break into a creative career:
“London Fields Design School has certainly been a great experience. As someone joining the course with a small amount of Adobe knowledge and no prior design career, I’ve definitely been able to hone my skills and get a bit of work without having to rely on recruiters! The staff and lecturers are really supportive and friendly, and the guidance that they’ve given me on how to start freelancing and how to present myself has made it all worthwhile.”
We’re excited to see where Matthew’s freelance journey takes him next.

Inked fonts are bold and artistic, and they remind me of tattoo styles or street art. I used inked fonts in a poster design, and they instantly gave the project a creative and edgy look. They’re perfect for anything that wants to feel rebellious or handcrafted. If you want to add a touch of personality and raw style, inked fonts are definitely worth trying out.
