Students from our Designer Development Courses recently explored The Barbican and its iconic Brutalist estate. Guided by an expert, they delved into the vision, ambition, and history behind the design while gaining insight into the site's evolution and future.
Students also heard knowledgable insights from Carl, an interdisciplinary designer with a PhD in Architecture and experience in all RIBA design stages who teaches Vectorworks, SketchUp and Revit at the school.
After the tour, students sat with our Founder and Course Director, Ben, over coffee to reflect and share their takeaways.
At LFDS, we regularly organise field trips across London, giving our students the chance to explore the city's most inspiring locations, attend exhibitions, and engage in creative group activities.
