Karin Andréasson is a jewellery designer from Sweden who operates Karin Andréasson Jewellery from her studio in Hackney Depot, East London. Initially, her jewellery career focused on 3D design, specialising in glass. She draws inspiration from a variety of sources, such as stunning historical edifices, the natural environment, or even something as simple as a sighting on the street.

Laetitia Rouget, an artist from France but now based in East London, has found the perfect occasions for kitsch art. Her clever ceramics and textiles have caused a sensation on social media and generated waiting lists. Rouget began creating colourful handmade items such as vases, mugs, serving platters, and placemats after completing her studies at Central Saint Martins in 2010.

Jenny Lewis is a photographer who has lived in Hackney, East London, for over 20 years. She's part of the neighbourhood's creative community and has been taking pictures of local artists in their studios for the past four years.

Ruth is originally from Ireland, but moved to London for her studies. She specialises in textile design with an emphasis on woven textiles. Her pieces focus on colour, personal narrative and fun.

Salma is a London Fields Design School student with a sustainable development and politics background. After working in the industry for seven years, Salma became frustrated with the lack of opportunities for creativity and decided to take a course in interior design.

Despoina, enrolled on our Designer Development Course because she wanted a career change and became an interior designer, which has always been her passion.

Coco Lom works on local design projects and murals around East London. Her driving force is making people see magnificence in the mundane. She has placed her distinctive mark and style on several projects, such as a 30 x 9-foot playground mural for Newport School in Hackney. She encouraged young students to be creative and get involved with the project and was pleased with the visual responses to the piece.

Tred Benedict is a fixture in the LFDS studio, spending his spare time practising his designs and also keeping our studio team company.

After enrolling on the Designer Development Course, Ally Bellamy developed an interest in additive manufacturing technology and was able to take her ideas even further.

David Adjaye renovated this 'Mole House', a derelict house in Hackney, East London for artist Sue Webster. Webster had previously commissioned Adjaye Associates to build her a home called 'Dirty House'. She was attracted by the abandoned house's mysterious past and the infamous Hackney's Mole Man adventures.
