Student Spotlight: Mehi Diallo

Designer Development Course student Mehi has recently secured a role at Phil Allen Design (PAD) based in Brighton. It has been a pleasure to mentor Mehi and support him to step into his dream role with such an exciting landscape architecture firm.

Mehi says:

“Growing up with a civil engineer father in Ivory Coast has been a fascinating influence on my passion for architecture. Obtaining my bachelor's degree in architecture from Louisiana Tech University and then pursuing my master's degree at Brighton University have been significant milestones in my career development. Now, I am working with Phil Allen Design on prestigious projects around the UK which is a rewarding experience for me. I am a person who always seeks opportunities to learn to meet challenges. This is the reason why I joined LFDS to improve my skills.

What I like about LFDS is the availability of different tutors. We have tutors who are available at any time to help us deal with any issues we have, which is a significant asset. My goal is to start my own architectural firm in Ivory Coast. I want to be as successful as my father — or maybe even more successful — and follow in his footsteps. With the support of my tutors at LFDS and PAD, I have a great chance of succeeding."
